FORT BEND COUNTY, TX -On August 11, 2015, Fort Bend County and City of Richmond Officials along with stakeholders gathered to celebrate the completion of Williams Way from Wheaton Drive to Pilgirm Drive.  This completion will mark the second of four projects intended to improve access to the Fort Bend County Justice Center.  The $3.1 million project extends the four-lane divided concrete roadway from US 59 to just north of Eugene Heimann Circle.  The third project, Golfview Drive Phase 2, is also under construction with an expected completion in Spring 2016.  The final phase includes extending the improvements to Loop 762 by widening Front Street to a 4-lane concrete roadway and reconfiguring the intersection of Austin Street with Loop 762.  The reconstruction of Front Street will begin in the Spring 2016, after Golfview Drive is complete.  These four projects are intended to provide ample access for employees, jurors, and citizens utilizing the many services provided at the Justice Center.
