FORT BEND COUNTY, TX -Fort Bend County Judge Bob Hebert and Commissioner Precinct 1, Richard Morrison along with Debbie Horrocks, Director of Animal Services, preview  bumper stickers that will be placed on county vehicles to remind citizens of the Animal Services option to ADOPT A PET TODAY.  Fort Bend County Animal Services handles 300-500 homeless pets each month.  Adoption events are held 2-3 times a month all over the county in hopes of finding homes for unclaimed pets.  Citizens interested in adoption may attend one of the events or adopt a pet any day of the week at the Animal Services Center located on Blume Road.  The $100 fee for adoption includes spay/neutering, a microchip, rabies vaccination and DHLP vaccination.  For more information about the Adopt a Pet program, please visit the Fort Bend County Animal Services Website at fortbendcountypets.com or call 281-342-1512.
