Pursuant to §551.045 of the Texas Government Code, an emergency meeting will take place amongst a quorum of the Commissioners Court to address the following:
Discuss and take all appropriate action regarding extension of the Local State of Disaster ordered by the County Judge on September 10, 2008, in anticipation of the threat of damages by Hurricane Ike in order to address the impact of Hurricane Ike in the area of Fort Bend County, Texas.
Pursuant to §551.125 of the Texas Government Code, a conference call will be initiated by the County Judge at the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management, located at 307 Fort Street in Richmond Texas. Members of the public who wish to listen to the conference call may do so by contacting the Office of Emergency Management at telephone 281-238-3660, PIN Number 1145. The telephone call will be recorded, and made available to the public upon request.
In the event the foregoing item is not covered in the time allocated on the date of this agenda, the County may order a continuance for the next day until the discussion is completed on all items.
