Fire Marshals Office Celebrates 30 years in Fort Bend County

November 14, 2017

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX – This week County Judge Bob Hebert recognized the Fort Bend Fire Marshal’s Office for its 30 years of service to the community.  The County Fire Marshal is the chief fire prevention officer in the unincorporated areas of the county.   Fort Bend County established the Fire Marshal’s Office in February 1985 for the purpose of preserving life and property through safety education, fire code inspections and fire investigation.  Since that time, the Fire Marshal has maintained safety and consistency in code enforcement for the protection of Fort Bend County Citizens, and has continued to expand to meet the needs of the fast growing pace of Fort Bend County.
