Fort Bend County Announces POD Locations

RICHMOND, TEXAS – Fort Bend County announces the openings of PODs (Points of Distribution) around the county. These sites are open as of 10:00 am today, September 16, 2008.

* Arcola: Arcola City Hall, 13222 Highway 6 South — ice, water, and food.

* Rosenberg: Lowes, 28005 Southwest Freeway (at the intersection of Hwy 36 and Hwy 59) — ice and water.

* Stafford: Southern Ice Cream, 13755 Greenland Drive — ice ONLY — 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

* Missouri City: City Hall, 1522 Texas Parkway — a limited amount of ice ONLY.

* Sugar Land: Mercer Stadium, 16403 Lexington Blvd. — ice ONLY.
