HURRICANE AWARENESS WEEK DECLARED MAY 27 JUNE 2 2012

November 14, 2017

Get a kit.    Make a plan.   Be informed.

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX – This week, County Judge Robert Hebert signed a proclamation declaring the week of May 27th- June 2, 2012 as “Hurricane Awareness Week” in Fort Bend County.

Hurricane season officially begins June 1 and continues through November 30th. As we enter the 2012 Hurricane Season, it is critical that everyone in our area becomes more knowledgeable about hurricanes and hurricane preparedness.  During this week, we hope that citizens will begin to prepare by developing a family emergency plan.
